Events Marketing Intern
Trib Total Media and 535media are seeking outgoing and personable Events Marketing Interns to represent Trib Total Media and 535media brands at various events throughout the market. Interns will be responsible for positively promoting the products and services of Trib Total Media and 535media and to generate public awareness and interest in said products.
Responsibilities include overall event coordination, display design, setup and teardown, and event social media coverage. Manage on-site enter-to-win contests, collect entries, distribute giveaways and marketing materials, engage with event attendees and answer questions about Trib Total Media and 535media products and services.
In addition, office hours may become available at times where interns can assist the Trib Total Media and 535media Marketing Department with day-to-day activities such as basic clerical tasks, including, but not limited to, filing, corresponding with other organizations regarding event sponsorship and donation requests, ordering office supplies and specialty items, scheduling print ads, presentation development, contest development and implementation, etc.
Successful candidates must be professional, outgoing, personable, polite, well-organized, and be able to multi-task. Candidates must be at least a junior in college majoring in Marketing or a related field, previous internship(s) and/or related work experience preferred. Access to reliable, personal transportation is required. Social media knowledge and experience a plus.
The position is part-time, eligible for up to 20 hours per week. Schedule is flexible and will vary. Weekend and evening hours are required on an as needed basis. Any office hours will be performed between 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Business casual attire is acceptable.
