Pulse Research helps advertisers connect with potential customers

The national and local Pulse of America surveys gather media-specific household purchasing intentions over the next 12 months by asking respondents about their media and shopping habits. Trib Total Media Pulse of America Survey results indicate that 84.7% of residents read a local newspaper in the past week and 45.1% purchased or sought out information on a product or service advertised in a local newspaper. Only 34% purchased or sought out information about a product or service advertised on a local radio station and 35% purchased or sought out information from a product or serivce advertised on a local television station. In addition, 90.9% of respondents read retail store ads in the local newspaper, 87.6% read the ad inserts and 71% look for and read newspaper ads for products and services they plan to buy.
